Temagami Access Road/Mine Landing

An invasive form of Phragmites has been found on the Temagami Access Road/Mine Road near the landing. The Teme Augama Anishinabek and the Temagami Lakes Association abated the plant in 2025 and 2026.

Jumping Caribou Lake

Apparently, there is a possible patch of invasive Phragmites near Jumping Caribou Lake along Highway 11.

Marten River

Phragmites australis ssp. americanus is native.

It would be good to get out there and confirm the species.
